Baud - Removal of the old Fireplace              

Some years ago I removed the old De Ville wood burner from the kitchen. The heating in the lounge came from an open fire, but that meant most of the heat went up the chimney. I decided I had to put in a wood burner, but that meant removing the chimney breast. The wood burner was intended to provide a more comfortable atmosphere during the colder spring and autumn.

Brush the chimney to start.

Now ready to start to rebuild.

The wall has been rebuilt and I have started to make good the plaster before applying crepi
