Our
house has a large, modern, fitted kitchen, which leads to an open plan
lounge and dining room four metres wide by nearly seven metres long. The
ceramic tiled floor that runs through these three rooms, keeps the rooms
cool during the long hot summer days. In the corner of the lounge is a
wood burner, fitted in 2008; ideal if after a long hot sunny day the late evening turns
chilly. As
you leave the lounge via the French doors and go onto the large patio
area, you have a fine view of the surrounding countryside to the south
and west of the house. The Patio enjoys the sun from Early in the
morning to late in the evening. After the long hot day relax around the
dining table and enjoy a bottle or two of the wines for which France is
famous. There are three large
bedrooms, all with background convection heaters if needed. The main
bedroom in the loft with double bed and ensuite shower room with wash
hand basin and toilet. The second, with two single beds, also has access
to the shower room. The third bedroom on the ground floor has the family
bathroom next door. The fourth bedroom has been turned into an office,
with wi-fi internet access.
We have a Satellite TV, DVD and Video player in the house with a substantial ‘Library’ of films.
